UNESCO The international scientific committee

The international scientific committee is composed of specialists from France and abroad, covering the five main scientific fields at the heart of the Chaîne des Puys-Limagne Fault Tectonic Arena. It encourages and coordinates new inter-university research on the site, promotes the dissemination of the scientific results to the general public, informs public authorities about good management practice for geosites and aids international cooperation between geological World Heritage sites.
